FPGA hardware for the long run

PipeBlue Electronics (Shanghai PipeBlue Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in March 2025, focused on FPGA board design and volume delivery. Our core team comes from telecom equipment and test instrumentation, with deep experience in high-speed routing, power integrity and production testing.

We only do three things: boards that bring out all device resources, reference designs that compile on first try, and predictable lead times. SOMs ship with carrier design guides and impedance conclusions, cutting customers\u2019 hardware cycle from six months to two.

Our first 8 boards cover UltraScale+, 7 Series, Zynq MPSoC and analog front ends, serving industrial vision, radar and university lab customers.

Milestones

2025.03

Company founded

Registered in Songjiang, Shanghai; core team transitioned from telecom to FPGA board design.

2025.06

First eval board

Completed A7-200T eval board design; validated first-board bring-up and DDR4 signal integrity.

2025.09

UltraScale+ platform

Completed VU13P carrier 32-layer design and power-integrity validation; entered customer prototype phase.

2025.11

FMC mezzanine family

ADC acquisition and 100G optical mezzanines taped out simultaneously.

2026.Q1

In-house test line

Added thermal cycling and full-load burn-in; 100% powered-on test before delivery.

High-speed design

32-layer backplane and carrier design, 112G PAM4 channel simulation, DDR4 length matching ±5 mil.

Power integrity

Multi-phase rails with PMBus monitoring; full-load ripple and thermal rise backed by measured data.

Production test

Every board goes through power-on, I/O loopback and burn-in, with a test record.

Long-term supply

Pre-studied device alternatives; 6-month notice before obsolescence, with migration guidance.
